SealSQ, a subsidiary of WiseKey, is in exclusive negotiations to acquire IC'Alps, a French specialist in secure semiconductors. This merger will strengthen SealSQ’s expertise in post-quantum security and integrate 100 new employees into its team. Jean-Luc Triouleyre, CEO & Co-Founder of IC'Alps, sees this acquisition as a strategic opportunity to reinforce their position in Europe and deliver even greater value to their clients.

Aurélien BOUIN (ESEO 2007), Independent Software/Firmware/Electronics Engineer @ CAPTINA:
Aurélien Bouin was featured in the Éco magazine of the Maine-et-Loire Chamber of Commerce for his key role in the development of Therm’Eau, an innovative tool created by the start-up Squama. Thanks to his expertise, he contributed to the design of robust and high-performance sensors, specifically adapted for data collection in aquatic environments.
Maxime Roux (ESEO 2015), Cofounder @ OSTREA
OSTREA, co-founded in 2022 by ESEO alumnus Maxime Roux with the goal of transforming shell waste into an innovative and sustainable material, has just raised €5 million in funding. This investment will enable the company to open a high-capacity production site near Rennes, expand internationally, and accelerate the transition to a circular, low-carbon industry.
Ostrea has also been selected by Challenges magazine as one of the 100 startups to invest in.
Jean-Luc ISSLER (ESEO 1988), Senior Radio Frequency Expert @ CNES:
Jean-Luc Issler, a trailblazer in satellite navigation and recipient of the European Inventor Award, was recently highlighted by the European Patent Office in a LinkedIn post for his visit to the Lycée français de Vienne (LFV), where he captivated students with stories from his pioneering work on the Galileo satellite system, inspiring them to explore science and technology with curiosity and ambition.
